Don’t think finding DC shoes on sale means you have to settle for low quality or out of date styles. We have gone through the internet with our skate shoe team and done all the leg work for you to find you the best in low priced DC shoes! This is one of our favorite companies out there right now for sure. Not only for all the great footwear and clothing they make but for all they have given back to the world of skateboarding. Check out some of the great deals we have set up for you below.

Check out the DC Court Graffik we have for super low prices. They fit pretty true to size although on me they’re a tiny bit wide so these are best for a wider foot. These are one of the most versatile and comfortable skater shoes around today and for a wicked price.  They will also stand up to general wear and tear great I’ve had my pair for over 2 years and they still look fresh.

Next up check out the great deals on the DC Pure series. They have full leather uppers and use suede material too for a really nice look. They fit great and I’ve found they’re also good for keeping your feet cool while skating. Combine this with a sure grip rubber sole and you have a solid product. They come in tons of colors and a few different styles so take a look and check em out.

In recent DC News, DC pro snowboarder rider Kimmy Fasani was recently in the mountains of Colorado when she became the first female snowboarder ever to pull off a double backy, which had been a goal for her for a very very long time!  Also recently DC Pro Rob Dyrdek  started his very own toy line based on a skate crew. Really cool stuff. The line is called Wild Grinders and this is Robs 1st time getting into the toy biz. There are currently six figures based on Dyrdek and his friends with more plans in the works! So stay tuned.

DC Frenzy

The DC Frenzy Shoes combine the look of an old school skater shoe with cutting edge DC skate shoe technology to bring you one hell of a shoe. I really like the bold chunky look of these shoes both the Frenzy and the brand new DC Frenzy TP shoes  look great and will stand up to a fair amount of punishment. Most skaters I know including myself often burn holes through kicks far too quickly. but with all the tough construction and materials used these will be around for a very long time if you treat them right.  Let’s talk about the solid build and construction of these. They feature tough leather uppers and abrasive and scrape resistant materials.

Of course in a solid skateboard shoe you need more then just a tough build. If the board feel and grip suck or they’re not comfortable then what good are they? Not much. no worries here though as usual DC keeps the bar raised with these shoes. They’re ultra comfortable and feel great to wear! As far as comfort features goes they have a excellent air ventilation system inside to keep air flow going and you skating happy all day and night

Both comfort and protection meet in one with these as they have really well built foam pad insoles and ankle guard to stop you from messing you your foot on big trick or ankles on, well pretty much anything. I love the style and graphics on them too. The Blue and White TP Frenzy shoes really stand out to me but I’m digin most of the other colors and styles too. Some sick shoes from the guys at DC the front padding is also awesome and well needed. I would say if you’re looking for skate shoe durability go for a pair of these.

DC Frenzy Features

  • Smooth Ultra Tough Action Leather, Abrasion Resistant
  • Interior Elastic Lace Systems
  • TPU Eyelets
  • Cushy Yet Tough Pads in  Tongue and Collar
  • Ventilated  Mesh Tongue
  • Interior Elastic Tongue System
  • Mid-Length Airbag
  • Performalite™

DC Impact RS Shoes

Hey guys, I’d like to show you some of my favorite DC kicks out now they’re the DC Impact RS. Im a huge fan of the blue style especially which I have dubbed “Blue Ice” haha. Ok but back to reality here these are some solid shoes and the design is sick! These are the kind of DC shoes that will  look mint no matter if you’re skating in them or not. I cant personally say how long they will hold up for skating because I do little more then cruise down the street in my pair. Just do not want to get them messed up.  From wearing them and looking my pair over my guess would be they will hold up pretty decently.  The genuine leather upper features embossed details which gives these shoes a popping, 3-d look. I love it. Throw that fat DC logo on the side and you got some serious shoes. Oh Yes sir! I usually find skateboard shoes to be the most comfortable in general and these are no exception They have excellent padding on the insides and the soles are pretty good as far as comfort goes and seems to absorb shock well for what Ive put them through.

DC is always coming out with great stuff. Speaking of DC if you get the chance be sure to check out Rob Dyrdek in his awesome show Rob Dyrdeks Fantasy Factory. The show is really entertaining and Rob is for sure one of my all time favorite pro skaters I love this show and in my opinion it’s a great follow up to those of use who were bummed out by the loss of the Rob and Big show.

To re cap here’s some of the listed features of these shoes:

  • multi-colored leather upper
  • Sick design and style
  • ultra grippy rubber sole
  • padded tongue and collar
  • very comfortable

DC Snowboard Boots

Hey guys, as most of you know by now Im sure DC shoes doesn’t just make skate shoes, they is also a fine line of DC snowboard boots to choose from if you’re into snowboarding. We spend a lot of time up in gorgeous Vancouver Canada so I always get a chance to try this amazing sport out and I can tell you DC make some really great boots. Check out some of our reviews below including the DC Boa boots.

DC Status Boa Snowboard Boots

Back for 2011 it’s the DC Boa boot . These are pretty sweet. Super super comfortable due to features like internal air venting systems along with ultra soft lining really helps to take some of the stress off your feet. We all know you can’t just slip your boots off as easily as say a pair of skate shoes, but with features like these you really wont need to.  The tongue is comfortable while still tight fitting for all the support you need, and a welded backstay and ankle supports make sure your feet stay were they are supposed to.  These boots really give you the best of both worlds while snowboarding, superb flexibility while they maintain  their tough construction and build.

Now as far as fit goes, I would always recommend you buy a size larger because your feet will still swell and you can always wear thicker socks, something I always do while up on the hills anyways.  These boots aren’t very cheap either in construction or price. So if you really need to make your budget stretch these may not be for you but I’m really loving my pair.

DC Judge Boa Snowboard Boots

Another hit for 2011 is the DC Judge Boot. As far as features go I would say this boot is very similar to the Status boot in that they both feature tight fitted tongues, offer tons of comfort and have great features like reinforced welding and heel support. I don’t think these are as flexible as the Status but other then that and some exterior design differences I’d say they’re both pretty close and both awesome snowboarding boots.

DC Purist

Hi guys, this is our latest review of the DC Purist shoes. I’ve owned 2 pairs and have found them to be a pretty solid skate shoe. They’re not very fancy or over the top but they get the job done and they aren’t over priced.

The DC Purist brings you a more old school style similar to the early DC lines. They have a great basic style along with awesome design and construction for both skating and kicking back at home or wherever. Features like perforated panels and eyelets help with airflow and all around comfort while skating and this feature can be found in most dc kicks. I’m a big fan of the look of these the sides have a really nice design and the logos and look are clean and sharp.

They don’t just look great but they also feel really comfortable to wear thanks to additions like Soft yet durable action leather uppers. Vent system in upper even more comfort and higher performance. They also have a good thick foam tongue and soft padded collar with ventilated lining. DC Logo is featured on the tongue and adds a good touch. Add in elastic tongue holders and embroidered logos and you have a really good skate shoe. The grip and board feel are also awesome I would give these and 8.5 out of 10

DC Flawless

Hey guys, check out the new Rob Dyrdek line from DC shoes. The Flawless series are pretty dope, they’re not over priced but get the job done…even if that job is just looking good. As always they feature the DC pill pattern on the bottom for extra grip and give you a non slip surface. I’ve never really skated with these in the rain but in every day use they seem to have decent grip on wet surfaces so that’s always a plus. These also have a tough suede upper so they shouldn’t rip apart too quickly on you whatever you use them for. The foam collar and cushioned tongue are always a nice touch on any skate shoe. The DC Flawless also feature innovative cup sole construction to help absorb shock especially useful when trying any big tricks, gaps or stairs, on top of all of this you also get a air flow system in the toes and a mesh tongue insert for great breath ability. This also helps your shoes not stink, bonus.

As far as these DCs style goes I’m pretty happy with how they look. Some of the colors aren’t for me but there’s a great selection to choose from. Besides looking good and performing awesome they’re not too heavy on your wallet so I’d recommend these if you like DC and go through shoes fairly quickly like myself.

Key Features:

  • Durable and tough Suede Uppers
  • Ventilated Upper Panel
  • TPU Eyelets
  • Foam Cushion Tongue and Padded Inside for added Comfort & Support
  • Lightweight Mesh Tongue
  • Elastic Tongue Straps For Added Fit

And speaking of Rob Dyrdek, his Foundation recently celebrated the much anticipated opening of their 5th “Safe Spot Skate Spot” project in L.A. at The Rancho Cienega Park. Dyrdek along with Council member Herb Wesson, and California  Skate Parks President, Joe Ciaglia, were all there for the opening day.

This state of the art skate park cost a whopping $300,000 and is located at the Rancho Cienega Sports Complex, which is owned and operated by the city.  The skate plaza has been named in memory of council member and community activist Charmette Bonpua, who passed on in February.

DC Net

These DC shoes look awesome and go with tons of different styles and clothing. They have a great crisp and clean look to them but still have some flash and I really love the color combination and the over all style of them to. I go to University and usually end up walking to most of my classes so to me it’s really important I am wearing good footwear because it can be quite the hike around campus. Due to the extra padding in the heel that DC puts in your foot may feel a tiny bit squished up near the toe area. I found an easy fix for this size thing was to simply push the tongue into position a tiny bit and bam…problem solved. That was my only real negative issue with them and I was glad to get it resolved fast because I love how they look on me. All in all these are some pretty cool shoes.

Here’s some of the features DC says about this shoe:

  • Synthetic leather or synthetic nubuck upper.
  • Ventilation the upper panel.
  • Soft foam tongue and collar for extra cushion and support.
  • Airflow through the mesh tongue.
  • Elastic tongue holder to keep the shape of the shoe decent and everything all in place.
  • Their popular performance cupsole design comes with these.
  • Scratch proof and tough grippy rubber outsole..
  • Eyelets on the side of the shoe.
  • Weighs about 15.00 oz..not bad.

Recently DC has announced they will be sponsoring the 2010 Mammoth Motocross, which is happening at Mammoth Lakes, California between June 17 – 27th. Besides sponsoring the event festivities, the DC Motocross team pros, Nate Adams, Jeremy McGrath, Josh Hill, Ian Trettle, Adam Cianciarulo, Zack Bell, and Chase Bell are set to be in the race at the event.
This annual show of massive talent started way back in 1968 if you can believe it and with every passing year its popularity has snowballed into the massive event it is today! It is now one of the largest grassroots motocross events in North America, combining multiple pro and amateur riders for a number of races going down at the Mammoth Mountain Motocross track.

DC court graffik

So, I picked up a pair of DC court graffik shoes about 5 months ago due to the fact I had worn out most of my other skate shoes and really needed something new that I liked. I paid about $75 for them at the time.  But you can now get them for around $59  right here! The fit has been awesome. I wear a larger size skateboard shoe and found these to be really in between a wide and narrow shoe which worked perfectly for me. I love the colors on it the ones I have are blue and white and look really crisp and clean. Some stitching is coming apart a tiny bit and Ive worn out the toe a lot but that’s after skating in them all winter and spring so I think over all they’re holding up pretty well.

DC court graffik Shoe Features:

  • Signature shoe for Travis Pastrana.
  • Beautiful yet resistant action leather uppers.
  • Has unique Travis Pastrana Teamwork design on tongue and insole.
  • Ventilation hole system to allow for easy airflow and maximum comfort.

  • Innovative and unique to  DC cup sole construction for a crisp looking sole that also performs awesome.
  • Tough and durable grippy rubber outsole with the DC shoe official “Pill” design.
  • DC court graffik Weighs around 16.00 oz.

This is the signature shoe from Travis Pastrana who rides as pro motorsports competitor for the DC shoes team. He is also a well known stunt performer and has taken first in many championship events including several gold medals in the X Games in a number of events some of which are, supercross, motocross, freestyle motocross, and rally racing.

Travis Pastrana has taken the sweet spot of first place in two motocross racing championships, the 2000 A.M.A. 125cc National championship, and the 2001 125cc East Coast Supercross Championship.
Recently in DC news, their very own Alfredo Mancuso made a quick apperence on the Ellen Show to bunny hop over six brave audience members. He easily clears them and if you watch the slowed down video re run you will see he probably could have jumped 11 Alfredo was wearing some sharp new summer DC gear, and the show was awesome!. Quickly after his spot on Ellen, Alfredo will be comming togeather with the rest of his DC BMX crew on the “Roughing It west coast tour”. The tour begins in Denver, be sure to check them out as they travel through San Diego. Can’t make the show?…no problem. Now you can follow them along their westcoast spot, in real time, via the DC GPS locator. Cool stuff indeed!

DC Block Spartan

Hey everyone, this is my new review for the DC Block Spartan after about one month of using them for both skateboarding and every day wear.

These felt great as soon as I put them on. Not hard and tough like a lot of other skate shoes. They do fit a little on the small size so maybe buy 1/2 size bigger then you need. This is what I did and it’s worked out great. The tongue and collar on these is nicely padded and help keep my comfort level up and Ive found no matter what kinda of socks Im wearing with them they still conform to my foot great and always feel right.

For me personally I love the look of these kicks. The graffiti graphics on the side are wicked and I love how they look.  The colors are clear and crisp and over all they’re my favorite day in and day out shoes to wear. I find their look to be really versatile too and goes with tons of other stuff I wear. They come in a few really sick color combination’s just check out some below!

I’ve been skating in these a whole bunch over the past month and they’re holding up awesome! The fabric doesn’t come
apart of seperate at all. They have a cool lace saving feature which allows you to have the bottom two rows of laces behind an extra piece of leather to guard and protect your laces from being destroyed quickly by your grip tape.

Upper vent system for maximum airflow (I found it actually works with these shoes) Padded tongue and collar for added comfort and ankle support. Stretchable tongue placements come in really handy and help the shoe totally stay in place on your foot, Performance rubber wrap cupsole, this shoe is also created with a revolutionary new system which gives you all the durable benefits of a vulcanized sole without feeling hard and inflexible.

Key Features:

  • Soft yet durable leather upper.
  • Ventilated details.
  • Vented upper airflow system.
  • TPU eyelets.
  • Soft foam tongue and collar for ankle support and all around comfort.
  • Light breathable tongue.
  • Spandex tongue holders for great fit and placement on your foot.
  • High performing rubber wrap cupsole, this is an awesome construction technique that gives you all the benefits of vulcanized sole without feeling uncomfortable or stiff.

Recently DC shoes finished off their “Tonik:Drink Up” tour up the California coast line. This tour was put on to celebrate the release of Dc new “The Tonik” skate shoe. Shane Auckland came along with the DC team and documented the daily events both of skateboarding and day to day stuff across the West Coast. The Berrics have recently put up Part 1 of the “DC to SF” movie. Be sure to keep a look out for part 2 of this coming soon.
